Adani Total Gas has set a target of installing 75,000 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations by 2030. All 50 sites of the company are now also using rooftop solar panels.
Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani gave this information in a tweet on Friday. He said that the company has changed its vehicles from diesel to CNG. The vehicles included in the fleet travel 37 million (3.7 crore) kilometers every year.
The company planted more than 2 lakh trees
In the background of the 28th UN Climate Change Conference, the company said that under its Greenosphere Initiative the company has planted 2.2 lakh trees. This plantation will help in reducing 3,000 tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere every year.
COP 28 summit will be held in Expo City, Dubai from 30 November to 23 December. It has also been told in the tweet that rooftop solar panels are now being used in all the sites of the company.
Shares of Adani Total Gas closed at Rs 1,155.8/share with a decline of 0.28% on Friday. Before this, there was a rise in these shares for three days.
