In America, a six-year-old Muslim child was brutally stabbed to death. The child’s 32-year-old mother was also attacked, in which she was seriously injured. The police have cited the victims being Muslims and the Israel -Hamas war as the reasons behind this attack. At the same time, President Joe Biden has condemned this incident and said that there is no place for hatred in America.
6 year old child stabbed 26 times
The incident is of 14 October. In Illinois, USA, a 71-year-old landlord attacked his tenant with a knife. According to the police, the accused stabbed the child 26 times with a seven-inch knife. After which the injured child died in the hospital. Meanwhile, his mother is seriously injured. A case of murder has been registered against the landlord in this case.
According to the Will County Sheriff’s Office, the mother and son were attacked because both victims are Muslims and because of the conflict between Hamas and the Israelis. A family member identified the boy as Wadia al-Fayoum. At the same time, the victims are said to be of Palestinian-American origin.
The woman called the police
According to police, Ahmed Rehab, head of CAIR’s Chicago office, quoted the woman as saying, “The landlord knocked on the door and tried to strangle her and said, ‘You Muslims’ have to die.” However, the woman managed to call 911 while fighting off the landlord, officials said.
When the police reached the spot, they found the woman and the child injured in the bedroom. Both victims had multiple stab wounds to their chest, torso and upper limbs.” The statement said a knife with a seven-inch blade was removed from the boy’s stomach during the autopsy.

A press release was issued from the White House regarding the incident. According to which, US President Joe Biden said, “Jill and I are shocked and saddened to learn of the brutal murder of a six-year-old child and the attempted murder of the child’s mother in their home in Illinois. The child’s Palestinian Muslim family came to America to live in peace. “Disgusting hatred has no place in America and goes against our core values. As Americans, we must come together and reject Islamophobia and all forms of bigotry and hatred.”
Meanwhile, Democratic Illinois state representative and Palestinian-American Abdelnasser Rashid said, “This is straight up cruelty to Palestinians.”
