A day after Ram Lalla’s ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony, a huge crowd gathered when the doors of Ram temple in Ayodhya were opened for devotees on Tuesday (January 23) morning. Devotees gathered in large numbers from 3 am on the first morning after the Pran Pratishtha ceremony to have darshan of the new Ram Lalla idol.
“This crowd will always be there”
According to ANI, a female devotee who had come from Mumbai with her family for darshan said, “We have been staying here for three days, we will leave only after darshan.”
Another devotee said, “This crowd will always remain and should remain so. India is a land of religion.”
When will we be able to have darshan of Ram Lala?
For devotees wishing to have darshan of Lord Ram Lala, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra website has provided specific time slots-Morning slot 7 am to 11:30 am till o’clock and Afternoon slot 2 pm to 7 pm.
When will the Aarti/Jagran/Shringar of Ram Lala take place?
‘Aarti’ timings are Jagran/Shringar at 6:30 in the morning and Sandhya at 7:30 in the evening. Aarti is included. One can get the pass for ‘Aarti’ both offline and online. Offline passes are available at the camp office of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, which requires valid government identity proof.
“Not everyone will be able to get darshan today”
Speaking to ANI, Acharya Satyendra Das, chief priest of Ram Janmabhoomi, said, “The city of Ayodhya is looking divine. A glimpse of Tretayug is being seen at this time. Ayodhya is filled with groups of devotees. For darshan on the first day. So many people are present here that not everyone will be able to have darshan today. A group of 4000 saints have also come. Today the city of Ayodhya is looking full of Ram.”
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, “What we saw in Ayodhya yesterday, 22 January, will remain etched in our memories for years to come.”
Let us tell you that the consecration ceremony of Lord Ram was organized on Monday (January 22) at 12.29 pm. The formal journey leading up to the mega event included a seven-day ritual which began on January 16.
People from all walks of life including representatives of various tribal communities participated in the ceremony. Leaders of prominent spiritual and religious sects were also invited to the consecration ceremony.
The length (east-west) of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, built in traditional Nagar style, is 380 feet and width is 250 feet. It is 161 feet above the ground and is supported by a total of 392 pillars and 44 doors.
Intricate depictions of Hindu gods and goddesses are displayed on the pillars and walls of the temple. Lord Ram is present in the child form in the sanctum sanctorum of Ram temple.
