There has been a manifold increase in the revenue and profit of BookMyShow in FY23. This entertainment ticketing platform has now completely recovered from the difficulties faced during Corona (COVID-19 pandemic). The company platform running Book My Show is registered in the name of Big Tree Entertainment. Its revenue from operations in FY23 was around Rs 975.5 crore.
This has increased by more than three times compared to FY22. The company’s income in FY22 was Rs 277 crore.
The platform was started in the year 2007
The company has made a profit of Rs 85.7 crore in FY23. Earlier in FY22 it had suffered a loss of Rs 92.2 crore. The total income of the company has crossed Rs 1,000 crore. In FY23 it stood at Rs 1,026 crore. Book My Show was launched in 2007 as India’s first ticketing aggregator.
Its investors also include Accel, Network 18 and TPG Growth.
