Byju’s holding company Think & Learn Pvt.’s consolidated income in FY22 was Rs 5,015 crore, whereas its guidance was Rs 10,000 crore, which Byju fell behind in achieving.
Income was less than the guidance
People with knowledge of the matter said that although the income of ed-tech unicorn Buys was Rs 2,280.2 crore in FY21, the income in FY22 is more than that, but the company missed its own guidance. Apart from this, the company’s loss has increased from Rs 4,564 crore to Rs 8,245 crore in FY21.
Although the company has not officially released the results. The company has said in the notice that the company will approve the results of FY22 in the AGM on Wednesday. In early November, the company had shown an EBITDA loss of Rs 2,253 crore for its standalone business, even as income had increased by Rs 3,569 crore in FY22. However, the company did not officially say anything on the consolidated results.
