A good news has come amidst the voting of the Lok Sabha elections in the country. Oil marketing companies have reduced the prices of commercial LPG cylinders. OMCs have reduced the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder by Rs 69.50. The new rates have come into effect from June 1, 2024 i.e. today.
The price of 19 kg cylinder has decreased
From today, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi is Rs 1,676. It is Rs 1787 in Kolkata, Rs 1629 in Mumbai and Rs 1840.50 in Chennai. If we compare today’s prices with June 2023 last year, then the price of commercial LPG was Rs 1773, in that sense the cylinder is cheaper by Rs 97. However, there has been no change in the price of LPG cylinder for domestic use.
Earlier on May 1, 2024, the price of commercial LPG cylinder was reduced by Rs 19. However, in March the cylinder was made costlier by Rs 25.50. This big relief has given great relief to the businessmen running hotels and restaurants. Oil marketing companies revise the prices on the first of every month.
