Getting a front row seat in Indigo flight has now become more expensive. For its advance booking, customers will now have to pay an additional charge of Rs 1500 to Rs 2,000. Let us tell you that in the first row seats, more space is available to stretch the legs in the front.
According to the charges mentioned for different services on the airline’s website, if you take a window seat in the first row in an A321 aircraft (232 seats), you will have to pay a charge of up to Rs 2,000. Whereas the charge for the middle seat is Rs 1,500.
The same charge is applicable on A320 aircraft with 222 seats and 180 seat planes. Earlier the same charge for window seat used to be Rs 1,500, which means it has been increased by Rs 500. For this seat selection in ATR plane, you will have to pay Rs 500.
There is no concrete information yet about any increase in charges for selection of other seats.
Let us tell you that only last week the airline had removed the fuel surcharge. This charge, which was removed after three months, has reduced fares on some routes by up to Rs 1,000. This surcharge was imposed by the company in October 2023 due to the rising prices of crude oil.
