A massive fire broke out in New Delhi-Darbhanga Express (02570) going from Delhi to Darbhanga in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh . According to the information, the fire broke out due to a blast in the cylinder installed under the bogie. Two bogies of the train have been burnt to ashes. There was panic among the passengers after the accident. Railway and fire brigade teams have reached the spot and efforts are on to extinguish the fire. This accident happened near Sarai Bhupat railway station.
According to CPRO of North Central Railway, there is no injury or casualty in this accident. He told that the fire broke out in S1 coach when the train was passing through Sarai Bhupat railway station in Uttar Pradesh.
Horrific pictures of the accident have come to light. It is fortunate that there is no report of anyone being injured. All the passengers were safely deboarded from the train in time, due to which a major accident was averted. From the video that came from the spot, it can be estimated how dangerous the accident could have been. After the fire in the train, huge flames were seen rising from the bogies. There was an explosion and fire in the Intercity Express going from Bhagalpur to Jaynagar in Samastipur. Three passengers were injured in this. In this case, the GRP team is detaining two suspects and interrogating them.
DSP Naveen Kumar of Samastipur Railway Division said, “Today at 1:30 pm, Bhagalpur-Jayanagar Intercity Express reached platform number 5 here. A blast took place in the general compartment near the home signal of Samastipur. , three people were injured. Two people have been detained in Darbhanga GRP regarding this.”
