Ola and Uber, which provide app-based cab services, will now face competition from Rapido. Rapido, which provides two-wheeler and auto services, has started four-wheeler cab services.
Currently, online cab services are dominated by Ola and Uber, in such a situation how will Rapido compete with these two, Rapido claims that their services will be completely different, because they will provide services at the guaranteed lowest rate and zero commission for their drivers. Have brought the model.
Starting with 1 lakh cabs
According to the statement issued by Rapido, the company has started its cab services with a fleet of 1 lakh vehicles across India.
The company said in a statement, ‘The SaaS-based platform is a unique intermediary that exclusively connects drivers and customers, with no external control imposed on the marketplace. In the Rapido eco-system, drivers take payment directly from their customers, Rapido has no interference in this.
Subscription based model
Ola and Uber work on commission based model, about which their drivers have always had complaints, instead Rapido has implemented ‘Subscription Fee Based Model’.
For example, suppose if the earning through Rapido app reaches Rs 10,000, then drivers will have to pay a subscription fee of Rs 500. The advantage of this will be that the drivers will get the full payment from the customers and will not have to pay anything as commission.
