Four companies, including T-Series-owned Super Cassettes Industries Pvt Ltd, have bid to develop the proposed Noida Film City in the Yamuna Development Authority area.
Chief Executive Officer of Yamuna Development Authority, Dr. Arun Veer Singh gave this information on Saturday. He expressed confidence that this ambitious project of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be implemented this year.
Singh said, “The process of technical bid for Film City was started on Friday. Four companies have come forward to develop it. The project involves Super Sonic Techn Build Pvt Ltd (Maddock Films Cape of Good Films LLP and others), M/s Bayview Projects LLP Boney Kapoor and others, M/s Super Cassettes Industries Pvt Ltd (T-Series) and Lions Films Pvt Ltd KC Bokadia and others. Has shown interest.
He said that a global tender was floated to find a developer company for the International Film City project to be developed on one thousand acres in Sector 21 of Yamuna Development Authority area. 230 acres of land is to be developed in the first phase of Film City. After this, work will be done on other phases. Hotels, plazas and malls will be built here while 20 percent of the land has been reserved for greenery.
