Vodafone-Idea, which is facing cash crunch, made it clear on Tuesday that it is not in talks to tie-up with Elon Musk’s Starlink. This clarification comes after a media report, in which it was said that the company is in talks with satellite internet company Starlink. It was also said in the report that Starlink can buy the central government’s stake in Vi to enter the Indian market.
Vi said in its exchange filing, ‘We would like to state that there is no discussion with the company by this name. The company said that it is not aware of the basis of the news. On Tuesday, Vodafone-Idea shares closed at Rs 16.05 with a decline of 5.59% on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
