AAP-Congress meeting regarding seat sharing
On January 12, senior leaders of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress held talks regarding seat-sharing. After this, Congress said that there is “very good chemistry” between the two parties.
Leaders of India Bloc parties discussed seat sharing in Delhi, Punjab and other states for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. At the same time, the last talks held on January 8 on seat sharing were inconclusive.
The party said the Trinamool Congress will not send its representatives to any meeting with the Congress National Alliance Committee on seat sharing for the Lok Sabha elections as it has already conveyed its stand to its grand old party.
This week, Mamata Banerjee insisted that she will remain part of the INDIA bloc in the fight against BJP.
