Wipro has presented results for the December quarter more or less as per estimates. The company’s profit has increased from Rs 2,667.3 crore to Rs 2,700.6 crore in this quarter, while the company’s income has decreased from Rs 22,515 crore to Rs 22,205.1 crore.
There has been a huge improvement in the company’s margins in the third quarter. In this quarter, the company’s margin has increased by 105 basis points from 13.66% to 14.71%. Bloomberg’s analyst poll had estimated the margin to be 14.64%.
In Bloomberg’s analyst poll, the company was expected to have profit of Rs 2,699 crore and income of Rs 22,094 crore.

Ahead of the results, Wipro shares closed at Rs 465.45 on BSE with a rise of 3.88%.
