1. Chandrayaan-3
India created history with the successful landing of ‘Chandrayaan-3’ on the surface of the Moon. With this mission, India became the first country to land a spacecraft on the surface of the south pole of the Moon. ‘Chandrayaan-3’ was developed by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). This vehicle was launched from Satish Dhawan Space Center on July 14, 2023. It entered the Moon’s orbit on August 5 and landed on the Moon’s south pole on August 23, 2023.
2. Karnataka Election Results

The death of actor Matthew Perry of the popular American show ‘Friends’ shocked everyone this year. This actor said goodbye to the world at the age of 54. He was suffering from diseases related to drug and alcohol addiction. He breathed his last on October 28 in Los Angeles, California. His character of ‘Chandler Bing’ in ‘Friends’ was well-liked all over the world. He is also known for his powerful roles in ‘Fools Rush In’, ‘The Whole Nine Yards’ and ‘The Whole Ten Yards’.
9. Manipur News
On May 3 this year, caste violence broke out in the north-eastern state of Manipur. The pictures of violence between the Meitei and Kuki communities disturbed everyone.
